Magnet/Magnolia Gets U.S. Distribution Rights for Bronson

bronson
A while back I posted the trailer for Nicholas Winding Refn’s amazing looking Bronson. The film has since had it’s U.S. premiere at Sundance and as of today, according to indiWIRE, has been picked up for U.S. distribution by Magnet/Magnolia films. This makes the second time Refn has paired with Magnolia. In 2006 Magnolia released his Pusher trilogy. I only hope that they give Bronson at least a small theatrical run. This one looks like it deserves to be seen on the big screen. Watch the trailer below, if you haven’t seen it already. If you have, watch it again.
* I smell award recognition for Tom Hardy

New Trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn’s Bronson

A short while back I posted the teaser trailer for Bronson and it kicked (er punched) some serious ass. Since the film is getting it’s North American debut in a few days at Sundance we get a new trailer, and damn is it good. I smell some kind of nomination for Tom Hardy in the works next year. He looks absolutely astounding in this film. Oh and again if you haven’t yet seen Refn’s Pusher Trilogy. Watch it. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Nicolas Winding Refn’s Bronson will punch you naked!NSFW!

Please note that the trailer below is NSFW, while it’s not porn it does have some nudity in it.
Refn’s teaser trailer for Bronson A True Crime Story looks absolutely astounding. I haven’t found many details on the plot but if you go to the films official site here, you’ll see that Charles Bronson, played by the very angry looking Tom Hardy, has been in prison for over 30 years for a seemingly petty crime. Check out the trailer below, and if you haven’t seen Refn’s Pusher Trilogy, definitely check out all three. They are amazing movies.

Nugget: Refn has Valhalla Rising coming out soon,a Viking action drama. More details on that in a future post.
