If Tetsuo: Iron Man, Blade Runner, and Mad Max had a three way love affair, Offline would be their bastard love child. Director Matthew Santoro, a visual effects artist on AVP:Requiem and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, seems to have made one hell of a cyber punk ride. Though it’s a bit overlong for a trailer I’ll let it slide because it’s amazing. Actually if there is such thing as an ocular orgasm, this is it.

Rian Johnson (Brick, The Brothers Bloom) has announced his next project . The film, Looper, is a science fiction which he claims is an odd mixture of BLADE RUNNER, WITNESS and THE TERMINATOR. Okay, I’m in. I’m pretty much sold on anything this guy does after watching Brick. You can see Rian Johnson’s next film The Brother’s Bloom when it hits theaters December 19th, and if you haven’t seen Brick. Shame on you. Put it on your netflix queue now. Better yet, just buy the damn movie. It’s that good.
