“Plug and Pray” is a documentary about the current state and future of artificial intelligence. It’s currently playing at the Vancouver International Film Festival with no scheduled North American distribution. I’ll watch anything with robots.

He probably didn’t ruin Hollywood, but he sure did change the way films were marketed. Below is the trailer for “courtroom debate” documentary The People Vs. George Lucas. Director Alexandre O. Phillippe uses filmmaker and celebrity interviews mixed with fan films submitted via the films website to explore the fanaticism behind the Star Wars films and how Lucas affected the Hollywood machine. Check out the trailer below. This one just jumped to the top of my must see list for the year.
