Max Payne Trailer
I don’t really have a whole lot to say about this one except that the trailer shows potential. Hey, if they’ve finally figured out how to make good comic book movies, maybe good video game movies are next? Nevermind that I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Mark Wahlberg. He’s like that one kid on the tee-ball team who never really figured out which base is first base, but he tries really hard so you pat him on the head and give him a trophy at the end of the season anyway. Suddenly you realize that he’s the best player on the team, which is rounded out by Ludacris, Donal Logue, Mila Kunis, Nelly Furtado, and friggin Chris O’friggin’Donnell. And your wife gives you crap about drinking whiskey with your breakfast on game days… if only she knew... And even if director John Moore makes garbage like the Omen remake and the Flight of the Phoenix remake, at least he has a decent sense of style. So as your team stumbles dejectedly back to the dugout, defeated in both score and morale, at least their uniforms look good on their shameful march back to their moms’ minivans. 2 Responses to “Max Payne Trailer”Leave a Reply |

I gotta admit, I agree this trailer has potential. It kind of reminds me of Constantine though. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
I actually liked Constantine quite a bit. At least, the good parts (cinematography, and the cast was great- even Keanu was okay) outweighed the bad/silly parts.
